Singing with Essential Voices USA and the New York Pops at Carnegie Hall

It was so nice to be back on the Carnegie Hall stage on March 13th with my chorus Essential Voices USA, my first concert back with them since January 2020. I was grateful to be able to make music with all these high caliber musicians and to be part of this program with The New York Pops and soloists Max Clayton, Ephraim Sykes and Nova Payton.

The program was “a retrospective of America’s rich and unique musical heritage 250 years in the making, from Indigenous music to spirituals, hymns, ragtime, jazz, blues, Appalachian folk, rock ‘n’ roll, R&B, rap, and more.” It’s part of Carnegie Hall’s United in Sound: America at 250 program, and you can read more about it on the Carnegie Hall website

You can also read about the concert in Broadway World and the Times Square Chronicles, and see photos on Broadway World.
